Phân tích:

• Đây là dạng biểu đồ cột thay đổi theo thời gian nên có thể sử dụng các cấu trúc mô tả xu hướng như tăng lên giảm xuống.
• Đây là bài có khá nhiều thông tin. Có 4 năm, mỗi năm có thông tin của 4 địa điểm => khá nhiều thông tin, không thể mô tả hết được => chọn những thông tin quan trọng nhất. 
• Quãng thời gian từ 1998 - 2004 => thời quá khứ đơn

Tìm 2 đặc điểm nổi bật của biểu đồ. Đối với biểu đồ cột có sự thay đổi theo thời gian chúng ta sẽ tìm đặc điểm về sự thay đổi xu hướng trước (nên để ý đến cả tổng số dù có thể không có cụ thể trong biểu đồ), sau đó để ý xem yếu tổ lớn nhất trong biểu đồ là gì.

Overall, the percentage of people who used the Internet at home and in the library remained relatively constant, while the figures for access at work and college decreased. Also, home was by far the most common place where users accessed the Internet

Đây là bài có nhiều thông tin => ko thể mổ tả hết hạng mục. Đối với biểu đồ có sự thay đổi theo thời gian thì năm đầu tiên và năm cuối cùng bao giờ cũng là thông tin quan trọng và nên có trong bài => khổ 1 viết cho năm 1998, khổ 2 cho 2004

• Khổ 1: So sánh phần trăm sử dụng internet ở các địa điểm trong năm 1998. 
• Khổ 2: So sánh sự thay đổi của chúng từ năm 1998 đến 2004. Trong khoảng thời gian này nếu có điểm gì đặc biệt. VD chúng lên đến điểm cao nhất hoặc rơi xuống điểm thấp nhất cũng nên thêm vào nếu có đủ thời gian. 

Chú ý nguyên tắc:

• Chọn thông tin quan trọng để mô tả. 
• Luôn đưa ra số liệu cụ thể
• So sánh các thông tin với nhau.

In 1998, the proportion of users accessing the Internet from home was the highest, at around 54%. By contrast, the rate for those who used it at the library was at the lowest point of exactly 10%. Approximately 27% of users connected to the Internet at work, compared to precisely 20% at college.

The percentage of Internet users gaining access from their houses rose to approximately 55% in 2004, after a decline of about 8% in 2000. On the other hand, the figures for access at work and college decreased to exactly 10% and around 18%, respectively, over the period. Users accessing the Internet at the library increased about 5% from 1998 to 2000 and then dipped slightly in 2002, where it remained steady throughout 2004.

Paraphrase: The bar chart illustrates the number of male and female students who either home students or international students studying Computer Science at a UK university over three years from 2010 to 2012

Overview:

• Nhận xét chung là tổng số sinh viên tăng. 
• Đặc điểm, tổng số sinh viên quốc tế luôn nhỏ hơn bản xứ

Overall, there is an upward trend in the total number of students at the university. Although the number of international students was significantly smaller compared to the number of home students, there was clear growth in the former group from 2010 to 2012.

Thân bài:

The year 2011 saw the most dramatic development; the number of male home students fell just bellow 40 to around 24 and the number of females rose from 32 to roughly 44. There was also significant growth in the number of male students from overseas, climbing from around 20 in 2010 to approximately 39 in 2012.

In 2012, while the figures for home and international students who are men increased dramatically from 24 and 23 to 43 and 39 respectively, those of their female counterparts rose slightly from 44 and 18 to 50 and 20 respectively. Furthermore, the number of female home students eventually overtook the number of males from the same group, reaching a high of 45 in 2012.
